The Sun Country Amateur Golf Association is proud to offer stipends to help offset costs to qualifiers that qualify for USGA Amateur National Championships. For each amateur National Championship which has a qualifier in the Sun Country, there is a stipend available. To qualify for this stipend:

– Qualifier must be an active SCAGA Member in good standing

– Qualifier must have qualified for the national championship out of a
qualifier hosted by the Sun Country Amateur Golf Association.

Alternates can apply for funds provided they end up getting into the National Championship, and will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

For those competitors who qualify for events that don’t have a SCAGA hosted qualifier (e.g. Women’s Amateur, Women’s Sr. Amateur), provided that they are a SCAGA Member in good standing, stipends will be available.

To apply for these funds, please CLICK HERE to download the stipend form. This form, once filled out must be received by the Sun Country Amateur Golf Association no later than 30 days after the conclusion of the National Championship.
